Summary
A child's white cotton pinafore or possibly a dress for a toddler. The front of the garment has square neck opening extensively trimmed with fine broderie anglaise and silk trimmed embroidery. The dropped waist has a horizontal band of similar broderie anglaise and silk embriodery. Coming from the end of this band are two long fabric ties similarly embroidered at their ends. The back of the garment is open with a square neck-line trimmed with broderie anglaise and silk embroidery. The back closes with four small pearl buttons and button holes. There are no sleeves, but the arm hole opening is trimmed with broderie anglaise. The garment has brown staining.
