Summary
A child's cream crochet bonnet (circa 1875 to circa 1900). The crochet starts from a round on the crown. Then it changes from a circular to a 'to and fro' method of working to make a frame for the face, with a turn back and two extensions that would reach under the chin. Possibly made of a double treble stitch with a simple looped trim round the face.
