Summary
A child's pinafore made from cream cotton with a glazed finish and a tiny diamond pattern in the weave. The main part is a single piece of fabric joined at the shoulders (with sloping seams at the back), leaving armholes which are bordered with a lace-like crocheted edging. Around the neck edge is a narrow channel through which a narrow length of tape is threaded and a pair of short lengths of tape about a third of the way down the back edges, for fastening. There are a few small brown stains on the front.
