Summary
A child's pale green flannel petticoat (circa 1900) decorated with gold coloured embroidery stitches around all the edges. It is thought be old fashioned in style and possibly not quite finished as there are no straps. There is a deep pleat in the centre front. There is a triangular shaped piece of flannel on each side of the bodice. There is a slit in one of the triangular shapes which the opposite triangular shape would slot through. There are insect holes. The inside of the bodice is lined with cotton.
