Summary
A baby's stay bodice, hand knitted in cotton thread (circa 1870 to circa 1890). There are tape straps to go over the shoulders. The bodice has two narrow extensions. One of these threads through a hole so that both can be taken round to the back of the baby and secured by tapes which are attached to the narrow end of these extensions.
