Summary
A white linen pinafore for a child, which is very full and gathered into a round neckline edged with narrow lace. It has deep frills at the lower edge and at the tops of the armholes, made from broderie anglaise. A length of narrow tape is threaded through a channel at the neck edge to tie at the back, and at the top of the frill on the left back there is a large fabric-covered button with a corresponding loop on the right back edge.
