Summary
A matching jacket and trousers suit, possibly for a boy and in very good condition. The bolero style jacket is made from brown velvet and is trimmed at the edge with white cotton braid and white cotton covered buttons (dome shaped). The shoulders are decorated with epaulettes made from white cotton braid and a fine white cotton muslin. The muslin is decorated with white cotton covered buttons (domed shaped) and trimmed with white woollen tufts. The cuffs are also decorated with white braid and three white domed shaped buttons (possibly shell) and trimmed with white lace. The inner side of the sleeves are decorated with two rows of white cotton braid. The lining is made from white cotton fabric. The trousers are also made from brown velvet and are decorated down the out edge with two bands of white cotton braid and white cotton covered buttons. There are two woollen tassels at the bottom of each trouser leg. They are lined with white cotton fabric. Total number of items is 2.
