Summary
A child's machine made white cotton cape (circa 1895 - 1900). The white cotton material is made from a decorative weave with horizontal lines of stitching about 5mm apart. It is trimmed with two broad bands of broderie anglaise all round the body and one round the collar. It ties at the throat with broad cotton ties.
