A child's early 20th century white fine cotton sleeveless child's petticoat (circa 1900 to circa 1925). The skirt of the petticoat is decorated with three horizontal lace insertions, two large and then one small. Below is a large pintuck decorated with a row of feather stitching and trimmed with lace. Below this, the bottom of the petticoat is decorated in the same way. The petticoat opens at the back and fastens with two pairs of thin cotton ties, some of the ties have been broken off. In the inside of the petticoat is a red stitched laundry mark and 'H 51' written in black ink near by.
