Summary
A baby's long yellow cape made of a woollen fabric (circa 1860 to circa 1880). The top of the cape has a overlapping collar and overcape, these are edged with a white fringe. Inside the fringe are curly yellow embroidered threads. At least three of these threads have become detached and are separate from the cape. Inside the collar are two white cotton ties and brass safety pins. The cape is decorated with embroidery consisting of white silk leaves with thread borders and insides. White threads make up an abstract pattern of various stalks and flowers. The inside of the cape is backed with white cotton. This is covered in brown spots. A pencil inscription reading '330, P - T' is written on the inside. Total number of items is 4.
