Summary
A boy's cream plain linen jacket (circa 1871) with long sleeves. This jacket belonged to a boy called Travers Buxton (born 10.12.1864) who wore them on the death of his mother in 1871. The jacket is made from a stiff heavy linen. The jacket has a plain round neck. The jacket open at the front and fastens with seven large round mother of pearl buttons. The jacket appears to have been starched.
