Summary
A girl's single breasted dark green wool school blazer with two patch pockets on the front (circa 1974). A zip pocket inside the righthand side and a narrow 'pen' pocket inside the lefthand side. The jacket is closed by three green buttons and buttonholes. On a top lefthand side pocket there is a machine embroidered shield with the words 'Summem Pepite' in black lettering on a yellow background, a yellow dove in the bottom third and a seven armed star shaped motif in the top third. The long sleeves are lined with white cotton. There is a hanging loop at the neck.

Inside the back of the jacket: 'Tailored by / Beau Brummel / for the branches of the /John Lewis Partnership' On the right hand side, inside the pocket: 'Nylon / RE-INFORCED'
