Summary
A (circa 1890) baby's long white, hand-stitched cotton or linen robe decorated with broderie anglaise on the bodice and cuffs. Trimmed with lace (possibly re-used lace) at the neck, hem and the pointed ends of each of the two cotton ties. Above the hem are three narrow pin tucks. The robe fastens at the back with a pair of cotton tape ties and a button which is now missing.
