Summary
A long fine cotton doll's robe (early 20th century). The bodice has lace gathered at the neck all around with two layers of lace across the front. It has short puffed sleeves gathered at the cuff. It opens down the back fastening with three hooks and eyes, the top eye and bottom hook are missing. The skirt is gathered and stitched on top of the bodice. The lower skirt has a band of six narrow pin tucks running all around it, beneath these is a broad hem edged with lace. There are several small stains on the skirt. There is a single seam running down the back of the skirt.
