Summary
A child's early 20th century white linen petticoat (circa 1900 to circa 1920) which has a round neckline edged with narrow lace, similar lace around the armholes, and a full skirt gathered on to a high bodice. At the lower edge of the skirt are four narrow pintucks and a broderie anglaise border, patterned with four rows of tiny holes. It fastens at the back by means of narrow tapes threaded through channels at the neck and waist.
