Summary
A tube-shaped item, possibly a sleeve, possibly part of a dressing up costume, as they match a pair of trousers (record number Co.34a) made from bright yellow cotton chintz, with elastic (now perished) threaded through a channel at each end. The matching sleeve is recorded as 658064 and the matching trousers are recorded as 658063.
Provenance
Donated to the National Trust in 1973 by Mr Gladwyn Turbutt. A collection of mid 19th to early 20th century children's and babies' garments (also three black and white photographic studio prints of children from the family). All these items came from the donor's family home.
