Summary
A pale green child's jacket in manmade fibre with five mother of pearl type buttons down the front. There are tucks from the shoulders down to a band of smocking above the waist at the front and a box pleat down the back. The hem has elastic all round it. The jacket has long sleeves.
Provenance
Donated to the National Trust in 1973 by Mr Gladwyn Turbutt. A collection of mid 19th to early 20th century children's and babies' garments (also three black and white photographic studio prints of children from the family). All these items came from the donor's family home.
