Summary
A green blue flannel child's jacket (1870s or 1880s) in 1820s style. The trousers that match this jacket are recorded as 658035. The jacket has three button holes but no buttons. Instead there are six marks, three at each side of the opening where the buttons were. Pieces of thread and brown marks can be seen. These marks may be rust if the missing buttons were metal. There are parallel lines of white stitching around the edges of the front opening and the cuffs. The inside of the jacket is lined with white (possibly synthetic) silk decorated with a line design. The manufacturer's name 'Bland and Co' and their address is printed in red ink on a label inside the collar. The jacket has small moth holes.
