The set features illustrations from the 1947 Walt Disney Film film entitled 'Fun and Fancy Free'. Pepys were a British card game manufacturer between 1938 and 1978, using high quality of the artwork. The game consists of forty four colour illustrated 'playing cards' size cards and a fold out piece of card which has an illustration of a beanstalk on it. The pack is divided into nine sets of four cards each with a an illustration relating to the beanstalk story. A letter (A to I) appears in the corner top left and bottom right hand corner as well as a number between 1 and 4. There are eight remaining cards of which four have an illustration of the 'Fairy Harp' and 4 and illustration of the 'Giant'. The fold out beanstalk card has on it letters from A to I. The aim is to collect sets of cards which are then placed on the beanstalk, which inturn shows the story. The reverse of all the cards has an illustration in blue and white of the giant, with Mickey mouse standing on his fingers. The original cardboard box is blue and has a colour illustration of a Donald Duck, Goofey and Mickey Mouse inside a bean pod, above and below is the text 'Mickey and the Beanstalk Card Game, From Walt Disney's Fun And Fancy Free'. The back has the same text but has a blue and white illustration of the giant. In addition, at the bottom of the box is the text 'Pepys Series'. One sides read 'Another Mickey adventure' and the other 'a Giant amongst games'. The bottom reads 'British Manufacture'. The black and white printed instruction booklet has the centre pages detached.
