Summary
A card game entitled 'Spin and Old Maid', possibly early 20th century and made by Thomas De la Rue and Company. The original maroon box has a self coloured geometric pattern. On the lid is stuck a coloured card showing a dark man playing a banjo, the title, 'Spin And Old Maid', 'Copyright, Ent, Sta, Hall' and information about the makers. The lid is missing a side. The backs of the cards have a brown on white floral pattern. The faces of the cards show coloured pictures of six 'families' each with eight members. Families such as Jap, Turk and Brit with members, the baby, the judge and the King. One lone card titled The Old Maid. Total number of items is 51.
