Summary
A card game entitled 'Animal Misfitz' probably produced by British makers C.W. Faulkner and Co. Ltd, who produced a series of 'Misfitz'. There are over 20 of these, produced between 1898 and 1924. The back of the cards have a purple on white design which incorporates standards, flags and emblems of different countries and the motto, 'Honi soit qui mal y pense'. The coloured pictures on the front of the cards are in groups of three. Each set of three cards builds up to make different cartoon drawings of animals or birds with names, for example, 'Baa Baa' is a black sheep, 'Jumbo' is a travelling elephant and 'Spoony' a pelican. At least one pair of legs is missing. Total number of items is 56.
