Summary
A facsimile set of the 'Marlborough's Victories' playing cards of 1707, issued in 1972 by Harry Margary. Each card carries an engraving with a verse or prose description below. Inside the picture at the top are the value and suit of the card. Some praise Marlborough, others lampoon his opponents. There is also a leaflet describing the set. Five cards are missing are catalogued as TEMP.1075.1-6. Total number of items is 49.
