Summary
An original box for an 'Alice in Wonderland' card game (circa 1918). The box consists of a rectangular pink coloured card box which has a separate pink coloured outer sleeve. The outer sleeve has a playing-card sized card stuck to one side, with a colour illustration of Alice and text in black reading '15 Find the 'Queen in Court' and the Crown at the top, and 'Alice In Wonderland' at the bottom. The back has red text with a title reading 'The New And Diverting Game Of Alice In Wonderland' and a description about how the game is a 'Fac-simile And Elaborately rended in colours From Sir John Tenniel's Original Design, By Miss E. Gertrude Thomson'. Manufacturer details appear on one side. Total number of items is 2.
