Summary
A rectangular green coloured cardboard box with the words 'Dover Patrol Or Naval Tactics' printed in white ink. In between this inscription is a printed illustration of a battleship. Also printed on the lid is 'International Series Copyright' and 'British Manufacture'. The box is divided into two sections and contains the following items; A green backed playing board. When folded out, this board has a picture of the sea, divided into ninty six squares. In the top and bottom corner, in six squares each is each player's harbour. Eighty playing pieces on small metal stands. Forty have red backs, the other forty have blue backs. These pieces depict various items; coastal motor boats, submarine chasers, various battleships, mines, mine sweepers, a minelayer, submarines and a seaplane. Some of these pieces have a number. One red playing piece, 'HMS Wolf' has been hand drawn to replace a missing piece. The box also contains the instructions, an advertising leaflet and a plain piece of paper. Total number of items is 86.
