Summary
A colour printed replica of a board game entitled 'The Cottage of Content or, Right Roads and Wrong Ways, A Game', which is mounted on red cardboard (possibly a reproduction of a game dating from 1848 made by 'Habitat' circa 1973). At the top of the printed sheet of paper is a cottage and leading from it are three roads. Each of these roads leads to a roundabout and consequently other roads. In between the roads are scenes with figures. The title appears at the top of the sheet, while at the bottom is printed 'A Humorous Game'. Printed inscription on bottom edge of the board game reads 'London, Published By Wm. Spooner. 379, Strand, Novr. 1ST 1848, A Habitat product. Reproduced by permission of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
