Summary
A long, white, linen robe for a doll ( a barracoat). It consists of two identical pieces sewn together at the shoulders and sides, each of which flares out from under the arms to the hem. At the shoulders slits have been made which form a flap at the back and the front which may be folded down. There is a tiny hem all along the edges of these slits which continues along the edge of the flaps. The cuffs have had a tiny picot edge worked in crochet cotton. There are a few brown stains.
