Summary
A baby's white cotton cape. The broderie anglaise is possibly older than the other fabric and the piece was made up from different fabrics. The cape has a small collar of broderie anglaise with a scalloped edge. It opens at the front and fastens with a linen covered metal button and a cord loop. There is a plain panel of cotton fabric, below which is a deep gathered frill of open work broderie anglaise with a scalloped edge.
