Summary
A child's early 20th century (circa 1900 to circa 1920) small chemise made of cotton. It has a vertical opening at the front that closes with a covered button and a handworked loop at the neck. This opening is trimmed with a double row of lace frilling with a central narrow panel embroidered with feather stitch. There is matching lace trimming round the neck opening and the arm holes.
