Summary
A long white cotton christening gown with long sleeves. The bodice opens down the back and fastens with two small buttons. The neck and cuffs are edged with white lace. The bodice has alternate vertical bands of two pintucks, and openwork embroidered flowers. An open work band joins bodice to skirt. The edge of the skirt has two horizontal pintucks either side of a panel of open work embroidered flowers. The hem is a gathered band with a repeat of the open work flower motif with zigzag picot edging.
