Summary

An adult's (possibly) black felt cap with a leather peak which is coloured black on top and green underneath the peak. The cap, which brings to mind a 'Dutch' style, has decorative round buttons made of thread which continues and is attached to two similar style, but larger, buttons on the peak. A brown and black woven band of narrow fabric surrounds the hat. Inside the crown of the hat is a waterproof lining. A piece of manuscript forms the stiffening inside the band.
