Summary
A child's leather leading rein (possibly 1940s or 1950s). The reins have a central wide panel attached to which are 3 metal bells. Attached to either side is a waist band which fastens around the child's waist with a metal buckle. Attached to the top of the central panel are 2 shoulder straps one of which fastens onto a metal buckle on the waistband and the other has a loop which slides onto waistband and can be adjusted by a metal buckle. Also atttached to the central panel is a looped strap, designed to be held by the adult. This has been knotted part way down. All of the straps are attached to the central panel by metal studs.
