Summary
A fabric 'topsy-turvy' doll - a doll with two heads, one at each end, which can switch character from happy woman to a crying one. The heads are made from painted wood and the fabric body is stuffed. At one end is a painted head depicting a woman with a wide smile, wearing a dark brown cotton muslin headscarf, a blue and red bodice, and a long white cotton skirt with printed stripes and blue spots. The long skirt pulls back over her head to reveal that instead of legs, there is the head of a crying woman in a long white embroidered cotton robe with matching bonnet. The body and both pairs of arms are of stuffed cotton.
