Summary
An 18th century adult's waistcoat with a cream silk front and a woven cream fabric back. The front is embroidered with flowers, leaves and geometric patterns in coloured silk threads. The two shaped pocket flaps are also embroidered. The pockets are lined with white linen. There are nine cream silk covered buttons each embroidered with a pink flower. The front is lined with cream silk which is shattering along the bottom edge. On the reverse are two pairs of cream cotton or linen tape ties.
