Summary
A bisque-headed doorstop doll. Inset glass brown eyes, blonde mohair hair plaited into a loop on each side of her face. Open mouth with teeth. Painted facial details. Cream satin hands. Her bottle body is tightly covered with black fabric. Wearing a dark green fabric long sleeved dress with moth holes over which is a cream cotton lawn apron trimmed with lace. Lace collar and black bead with black ribbon bow at neck. Detached wide brimmed straw hat (TEMP.8488) decorated with transparent beads and white artificial flowers and green leaves. The inside of the crown is lined with pink fabric. Two cream ribbons are sewn under the brim to tie under the chin. There is a looped piece of wire (TEMP.8489) attached to a swivel latch at one end. It is unclear how this relates to the doll, if at all. Total number of items is 3.
