Summary
High relief modelled plaster ceiling and cornice on the Great staircase. Lower: This ceiling indicates the narrowness of the support of the decorative ceilings behind them merely 10” of framework of the landing floor all that supports it. Oblong design of three main frames with a large swag design on the cornice. Underside of stairs: Unusually highly decorated plasterwork beneath the stair section. Three painted oblong panels Upper: A large decorated ceiling similar to that of the drawing room and central section of the saloon with a painted centre.
