Summary
A George III mahogany corner table (quadrant shaped) with three splayed feet and with three tiers - bottom tier with circular pot-holder; middle tier with one drawer in centre and three handles decorating the front; the hinged top tier plain when folded, but opening to provide a splashback and reveal a shelf with one large hole and two small holes, presumably to hold bowls.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
