Summary
A George III mahogany bureau with a pair of panelled doors above enclosing adjustable shelves and surmounted by a dentil frieze and balustraded cornice. The sloping flap below encloses drawers and pigeon holes and surmounts two short and three long drawers raised on ogee bracket feet.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
