Summary

A glass kilner preserving jar. Made by Kilner. With a metal screw top lid which has a hole in the centre. The glass jar also has a glass lid which sits on top and then is secured by the metal screw top. There is also a rubber seal which sits between the two pieces of glass and the metal top. On the jar is 'The Kilner Jar, Improved, Recd.'
