Mahogany bureau-bookcase, c. 1770/80; straight top with cavette cornice; two glazed doors enclose three adjustable shelves with three drawers at bottom; doors, upper drawers and fall with diagonal striped stringing; sloping ball on two lopers encloses two tiers of two serpentine drawers (4 total) with two open compartments above flanking a pair of letter drawers concealed ion fluted pilasters which flank central string banded door; two short drawers over three long; bracket feet removed, in lower drawer.
