Oil painting on canvas, Stephen Langton Massingberd (1869-1925) and his sister Mary Langton Massingberd, later Mrs Hugh Maude de Fellenburg Montgomery (1871-1950) as Children by John Collingham Moore (Gainsborough 1829 - London 1880), circa 1873. Portraits as children. The small girl seated on a sofa with the boy in buff coloured dressstanding beside her. Children of Edmund Langton and Emily Massingberd. Stephen,who married Margaret Lushington,inherited Gunby in 1897 and died in 1925. Mary married General Hugh Montgomery,brother of Field Marshal Sir Archibald,who married Mary's sister Diana.

1944, gifted to the National Trust by Field Marshal Sir Archibald and Lady Montgomery Massingberd.
