Summary
An eight-day oak longcase clock, Edward Stevens, Boston, circa 1780, 12-inch square brass dial signed Edw. Stevens Boston to silvered elliptical mount, with inset date aperture and large subsidiary seconds; rack and bell striking movement with anchor escapement, in well figured case with broken-arch to trunk door and cavetto cornice, 6ft 9¾in / 2.26m high. Watches by Edward Stevens are also recorded. Second hand missing.
