Summary
The wooden elements of a mahogany double bed. Slatted swayed head and foot board raised over a single panelled rail with a small leaf scroll carved between the supports at each end. The square section legs terminating in flat caps and slightly tapered to the foot, brass castors of a mahogany framed double bedstead. Two L shaped bed irons, Sprung base in three sections laced together. Retailed by Heal and Company and possibly made by them, London, circa 1930-40. raised over a single panelled rail with a small leaf scroll carved between the supports at each end.
