Summary
A mahogany framed double bedstead, retailed by Heal and Company and possibly made by them, London, circa 1930-40. With slatted swayed head and foot boards raised over a single panelled rail with a small leaf scroll carved between the supports at each end. The square section legs terminating in flat caps and slightly tapered to the foot, brass castors.

Purchased from the Wrisdales in 2005, formerly owned by the Montgomery-Massingberds.
