Summary
A mahogany breakfront bookcase, English, part 18th century, reconstructed in the 19th century. In three sections, the central section with dentil moulded cornice above a pair of astragal glazed doors and a pair of panelled cupboard doors below, flanked by side sections each with a single astragal glazed door and four drawers, the whole raised on bracket feet and with adjustable shelves.

Gifted to the National Trust by Field Marshal Sir Archibald and Lady Montgomery Massingberd in 1944.
