Summary
Coloured stipple engraving, The Affectionate Daughter (after Francis Wheatley) by John Eginton (fl.1763-1804). Inscribed: 'The Affectionate Daughter'. The mother, seated facing left by a spinning wheel in the cottage, raises her hands to greet her daughter who has entered through the open door and stands before her offering coins in her left hand.
