Summary
Print, line engraving, George Savile, 1st Marquess of Halifax (1633-1695) by Etching by Jacobus Houbraken (Dordrecht 1698 - Amsterdam 1780). 1740. The Marquis bust length,facing slightly right with full bottom wig,lace cravat and cloak in an oval with auricular rococo edge on which his name and title are inscribed. Below enclosed in rococo framework a scene of William III and Queen Mary being presented with their crowns and septres. Dated 1740.
