The Major-General,in uniform with his hat and sword unsheathed in his right hand,standing before a broken gun carriage draped eith a flag. .Bought by Field Marshal Sir A Montgomery-Massingberd, April 1930. Long note on the career of the General in the Field Marshal's hand on the reverse.
