Summary
A cover. Part of a French white glazed earthenware dinner service of slightly lobed and undulating form, with pink lining and painted with sprays of pink, yellow, purple and blue flowers and consisting of two covered vegetable dishes, two sauce boats (and three covers) and fifteen dinner plates. Dish cover b) of undulating circular form, raised to the centre with a moulded finial as a twig with leaves and an apple, the whole lined and painted with two sprays and four single flowers. Marks; an impressed lozenge. Chips. Finial partially missing (the apple).
