Summary
A white glazed earthenware domed cover for a muffin dish (a), part of a tea service, both parts cast with ornament and painted with sprays of flowers in pink, yellow, orange, green, blue and purple, a blue line to the edge of cover and dish. The cover with a finial broken and re-attached with a staple. Marks; printed in green, a crown with 'ENGLAND' over and 'COALPORT/A.D.1750' below. Cracks and stapled repairs.
