Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Thomas Philip (succesively Robinson, Weddell, and de Grey), 3rd Baron Grantham, later 2nd Earl de Grey, KG, KP (1781- 1859) by William Robinson (Leeds 1799 - Leeds 1839). A half-length portrait of the 2nd Earl de Grey, turned to the left, wearing a greatcoat with fur collar over a high-collared white shirt and a black stock.
Provenance
Presumably a gift to the 2nd Earl of Enniskillen, and thence by descent; removed from Florence Court to Kinloch House, Amulree, in 1973 by the 6th Earl and his Countess, by whom it was bequeathed back to the house in 1997; given to the National Trust by Nancy, Dowager Countess of Enniskillen (1917 – 1998) before her death, August 1997
